The National Association of Realtors has changed their ethics training standards. What does this mean for you? Let’s talk about it.

The NAR has decided that agents only have to undergo ethics training every three years instead of every two. However, they’ve also changed how it works. You used to be able to combine this training with your legal one and two training, but now it has to be separate.

The best way to find out if you’ve satisfied NAR’s ethics requirements is to log into their website and check your portal. Ethics training is due by the end of the year, and if you do not renew your code of ethics, it will be a NAR violation. You will lose your benefits until you complete the training.

You can complete this training through an official NAR channel, a third-party resource, or through your C2EX training. Hopefully, this helped you understand the changes to the NAR’s ethics requirements. If you have questions about anything at all, please call or email me. I am always willing to help.
